We at Elmwood Cafe
would love to be part of a better world. We feel that the best way
forward is to implement our hopes for a better future right now in
our daily lives.
Our
Pledge
We will take half of our profits, this means
what we have leftover after paying our bills and taxes, and we will
use these funds to support what we believe are great causes.

How it Works
At any given time, we will have three different charitable causes that we are planning to donate to. Our customers can give us their advice on what project we should focus on next, by voting at the cafe, and soon on this website. As the funds become available, we will make the specified donation to the project that has the most votes. Once a project is completed, it will be replaced by a new project.
We feel that all of the projects are worthwhile, and in our system, once they become one of the three projects up for consideration, they will eventually get enough votes to be completed.
Your vote helps us to understand what kind of charities are most important to our customers and determine which projects we choose in the future.
